The next in our series of complementary technology seminars will review of solutions and strategies for tracking contacts and integrating this work with your overall communication strategy
Whether a spreadsheet with names and addresses or sophisticated commercial software, almost all nonprofits have some mechanism to track their donors, volunteers and other stakeholders.
The seminar will provide a review of the existing contact management solutions--from databases of different sorts, to donor and volunteer software, to on-line Internet services, to other kinds of lists. The review will provide a gauge to what application is best for your organization given the level of financial and staff time investment necessary for effective implementation.
The seminar will also provide some early strategies in a relatively unexplored topic on how to leverage your existing data in the 2.0 world including the following:
- Connecting contact management with new web designs using content management systems
- Using social networking tools such as tagging within contact management to improve quality of data.
- Integrating community features such as giving community members their own identifies and allowing blogging
Looking forward to seeing you!
