Using Calibri and other Office 2007 fonts on the Mac

If you use Microsoft Office on the Mac, you may be missing Calibri and other cool new fonts Microsoft introduced on the Windows side with Vista and Office 2007. If you have Office 2004 and beyond for the Mac, you can legally install these fonts as part of installing the Open Office XML file converter for the Mac. Use this link.

 I was looking for information on Access 2007 service packs, performance improvement, etc., and turned to the semi-official Microsoft Developer blog.  There is a posting from Bill Gates on the impetus to move Access functionality to the web with Sharepoint.  Looks like the authors post every week or so.

Office 2007 utilizes yet another file format as its default, creating documents with the extension .docx in Word, .xlsx in Excel, etc.  

MS Outlook -- clearing out old suggested email addresses

Outlook has an automatic function to suggest email addresses as you start to type them in. This works in the "to", "CC" and "bcc" (blind copy) fields. This handy time saver uses the list of your previously used email addresses and saves time compared to looking up the name in your address book.
